BLACKMAIL

A Hindi language black-comedy film by award-winning director Abhinay Deo and starring internationally renowned actor Irrfan Khan.

As a part of a small art department, I got the opportunity to handle various responsibilities such as script and character development through choice of set dressings and hand props. In addition, I sourced different props, set dressings and materials to create a lived-in look and feel for the film. The narrative demanded different setups, ranging from a lived-in middle class household in Mumbai and a rich Punjabi house inspired by Art Deco design, to bachelor pads including a crime-scene setup.
